Erykah Badu - New Amerykah, Part 2

Erykah badu is getting ready to release her sixth studio album, titled "New Amerykah, Part 2 (Return of the Ankh). This is the second pard of last year's "New Amerykah, Part 1 (4th World War).

Named after the Egyptian hieroglyphic character meaning "eternal life," Ankh is more spiritual and emotional than its predecessor. "Part 2 would be the other group of songs which are more right brained and emotional if you will," says Erykah Badu. "They fit together like a puzzle sonically, how they sound, how they feel."

As soon as there will be a release date for the album, it will be published on Music2Nite. In the meantime, check out one of Erykah's live performances at any of these upcomining venues:

May 24 23rd Jazz Reggae Festival
May 25 Sasquatch! Festival Quincy, WA
May 29 Honolulu, Hawaii
June 12 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

Solange - "It's Oh So Quiet"

Solange covered Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet", last week in Belgium. She did a gospel of the song and showcased her impressive vocal range, which can jump from a high falsetto to a soulful croon. However, a good attempt on her part, she didn't come close to Bjork's version, or did she? Watch the video below and decide for yourselves.

New U2 Video - Magnificent

U2 have released a new video for their second single from "No Line On The Horizon". It's titled "Magnificent", it was directed by Alex Courtez and shot in Fez, Marocco.

Originally titled "French Disco", the song penned by the band's members themselves revolves around "two lovers holding on to each other and trying to turn their life into worship."
