Official Vancouver 2010 Song - “I Believe/J’Imagine”

The official Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games song has been released, “I Believe” and “J’Imagine”. Both versions are sung beautifully and truly reflect the spirit of the Olympics. I live in Vancouver and can truly say that you can feel the enthusiasm for the games. Many people are showing their support by wearing a sweater, scarf, hat or anything else with the Olympic sign on it. Believe is a great slogan, it’s strong and everyone can relate to it.

The Olympic Games start this Friday, the torch will make its final round through downtown Vancouver before entering the BC Place dome in the evening. Good luck to everyone and Go Canada!

Sade Speaks On New Album + TV Appearances & Rave Reviews

“Soldier” was one of those songs we really had to fight with and even abandon for a while. But I think that that strengthened the rest of the album, because it was always there inside my head and somehow made its way into the other songs, that sort of feeling of being in the world which is a sort of wasteland or a place where there’s a struggle but somehow you have a purpose. At the end of that struggle, there’s light.

- Sade Adu on the making of Sade's new album "Soldier of Love"

The critics (and one fellow songstress) are already raving about "Soldier of Love"...

Sade enters their fourth decade of existence with a sixth studio album. And what an entrance!... Of course, at its center is Sade Adu's incomparable voice, which sounds as passionately poised as it did on 1984's Diamond Life. - Pitchfork.com (8/10 rating)

The 10 tracks on Soldier flow seamlessly together—showcasing the harmonious spiritual connection between Paul Spencer Denman, Andrew Hale, Stuart Matthewman and lead singer, Sade Adu. - Blogcritics.org

"When it comes to sexy, smooth, elegant R+B music, Sade IS the standard. I can't wait to hear her new work." - Christina Aguilera

Usher’s New Official Artwork for “Raymond V Raymond”

Usher has revealed the official artwork for the cover of his upcoming new album “Raymond V Raymond” due to be released March 30th on his website. The album will be his first since 2008’s “Here I Stand”, got off to a pretty bad start. The original first single “Papers” drove some initial buzz but failed to live up to Usher’s past singles. In addition, lots of other songs from the album began leaking on the internet.

Numerous release dates for the release of “Raymond V Raymond” were announced but it seems that March 30th will be the official date.

Usher’s team is currently advertising “Raymond V Raymond” with his new single “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home")” and the video for the track, along with the new official artwork of the album.
