Esmée Denters feat Justin Timberlake "Love Dealer" World Premiere

Esmee Dentersw

Esmée Denters and Justin Timberlake took to the streets and rooftops of downtown LA earlier this month to shoot the video for "Love Dealer" with top-notch production duo The Malloys.

Collaborating on the feisty, urban-flavored hit is just the tip of the Denters/Timberlake connection.  Esmée rose to internet fame in 2007, racking up millions of views on her Youtube channel with effortless and soulful covers of her favorite hits.  Among her worldwide fans was Justin Timberlake himself, who quickly signed the Dutch pancake house waitress to his own Interscope imprint, Tennman Records.  The two began writing her debut album Outta Here, with the help of an impressive list of hitmakers, including Polow Da Don (Usher, Ciara), Stargate (Rihanna, Ne-Yo), OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield), and Toby Gad (Beyoncé, Fergie).

Justin Timberlake – 2009’s Most Charitable Person!

Justin Timberlake Most Charitable
Justin Timberlake isn’t only incredibly talented with music, funny on SNL and movies, he is also a great role model for charities. Last year, the “Sexyback” hit maker raised almost $10,000,000 ($9,198,072 to be exact) and was named the most influential celebrity for charitable causes in a survey by US website The Daily Beast. The sum was donated to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Madonna, Pamela Anderson, Oprah, and U2 were also listed as celebrities who contributed a lot in 2009.

Madonna came in second on the list with $5,501,835 for her Raising Malawi foundation, while Pamela Anderson was third, raising $4,806,750 for animal rights organisation People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

In addition, Oprah Winfrey and her Oprah's Angel Network were listed on the fourth position, and Bono from U2 fifth with his ONE foundation.

I decided to write this post to remind you that there are many people in need out there, and it is wonderful to have role models such as these celebrities and give whatever we can.

Justin Timberlake + Beyonce - SNL "Single Ladies" Video

Beyonce was the musical guest this past weekend on Saturday Night Live. On to promote her new album, Beyonce was able to take a step back and parody her video for her latest single, Ladies Night.

The show, hosted by Paul Rudd and featuring Beyonce as musical guest, scored a 5.9 household rating in preliminary numbers released Sunday. NBC noted that the rating was a 31 percent increase over what "SNL" was doing with original episodes in the fourth quarter last year. Saturday's show scored better than every episode last season except the Feb. 23 show, which was the first one after the writers strike. Another bonus of Saturday's show: a surprise cameo by Justin Timberlake.

Madonna - Offical Cover of "4 Minutes"

I guess that the creative thought for this image was to keep it stupid simple. I still don't understand what makes Madonna want to work with Justin Timberlake, their style is very different, and I don't think that he can add anything to her music. What can I say, I'm just not a Justin fan.

Madonna - Working with JT + her son David

Madonna grew close to Justin Timberlake as they collaborated on her upcoming album "Hard Candy".

“I really enjoy writing with Justin,” she says in the new issue of Interview magazine. “We had psychoanalytic sessions whenever we wrote songs first.

“We’d sit down and we’d start talking about situations. And then we’d start talking about issues or problems or relationships with people.”

She describes the writing process as “very intimate… because he’s open and he’s got talent.”

Though Madonna has worked with countless songwriters, she found the connection to Timberlake unique.

“I haven’t worked with a lot of songwriters where I’m instantly connected and start riffing and playing with the rhythm of the words,” she told Interview.

“He’s as interested in the rhythm of the words as the meaning of the words,” she says of Timberlake, who will induct her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this month.

The Material Mom also opens up to Interview about adopting son David from the African country Malawi.

“He wouldn’t have lived if I hadn’t taken him,” she says. “It’s not even a possibility.”

“I think freedom is quite illusory,” she adds. “When I stop thinking about myself all the time and put other people before me on a regular basis, that’s real freedom.

“When I can love unconditionally… then that’s real freedom.”

Madonna and Justin Timberlake - "Candy Shop"

This is reportedly a (low quality) clip of the bridge in a new track entitled "Candy Shop" which Madonna has been working on with Justin Timberlake, and possibly Pharrell:

Get up out of your seat (your seat)
Come on up to the dance floorIve got something so sweet (so sweet)
Come on up to the front doorI need plenty of heat (heat)
Form a special confectionJust start moving your feet (your feet)
Move on over to me

Even though this is a low quality sound, I still don't like it, the lyrics are bad and expected something much better from Madonna. She should really focus on what she did in the 80s and 90s and not collaborate with other artists.

Justin Timberlake wants to team up with Coldplay

Justin Timberlake, wanted to record a duet with Coldplay since he is a huge fan of the British band and he is very interested in working with them.

He revealed, “I’d love to do a duet with Coldplay - especially Chris Martin. To me they are like a modern-day Beatles.”

Nelly Furtado, a mutual friend could introduce Justin Timberlake and Chris to one another.
Justin Timberlake recently teamed up with the Canadian singer, while Chris duetted with Nelly on a version of her track ‘All Good Things’, which he also co-wrote with her.

However, the song never made it onto her last album ‘Loose’ because Coldplay’s record label EMI wouldn’t allow it to be used.

I really don't think Coldplay should go for that, Justin Timberlake's still wouldn't mix well with theirs. Well let's see what will come out of it, I'll keep you posted of course!

Justin Timberlake - Working With Madonna

Madonna and Guy hooked up with Justin for dinner at Locatelli's while he was in London this week. He recently revealed that he's writing songs for her new album and with her. Justin has been working overtime with his tour, Shrek premieres dinner meetings with Madonna and even releasing new videos (check it out after the jump).

I really wonder what a Madonna and Justing Timberlake duet would sound like... I kind of miss Madonna's 80s tunes.
In the middle of all his busy schedule Justin managed to release a new video: "Lovedstoned"

Justin Timberlake signs his first artist!

Justin Timberlake and his team in Tennman Records have pointed their first artist to be signed under the label. YouTube star Esmee Denters inked the deal and will carry on becoming the opening act for a handful of Timberlake's European gigs.

"Esmee is a remarkable talent with a story that anyone with a dream can relate to - it is no wonder she has such an enthusiastic following already," Tennman president Ken Komisar said in a statement.

Beside opening act, Denters will also have her studio album released later this year.

Denters is mostly known for her appearance on a series of YouTube videos. Receiving 21 million views in the past 9 months, she covers songs from Beyonce Knowles, Natalie Imbruglia and many others.

Here's a clip of Esmee on YouTube:

It's the first time I heard about her, and I think she sounds really great!
