Kylie Minogue - Records Bollywood Song

Kylie Minogue was offered to sing on the soundtrack for an upcoming Bollywood, "Blue", for $1.5 million (this includes a video).

This marks Bollywood’s first international A-lister to lend her voice to a mainstream music director that will call for her to travel to Mumbai next month, according to DNA newspaper.

Kylie wasn't the first choice, director AR Rahman wanted Madonna (who didn't respond), or Rihanna (she wanted too much money).

"Blue", with a $28 million budget, is one of the most expensive features being produced about a sunken treasure ship, which is said to have been inspired by the Hollywood feature "The Deep". The film will be released next year starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Laura Dutta.

Kylie Minogue on Tour!

Kylie Minogue has started what is reported to be "the biggest world tour of her career". Kylie started her KylieX2008 Tour on May 5th in Paris, and performed songs from her latest album "X". She also performed her own version of Barry Manilow's "Copacabana". The show has costed over $20 million to stage and includes 53 dates across Europe. Kylie will end her tour at the O2 in London, where she will perform 6 shows.

Kylie Minogue dresses as a Geisha in promotional shots for her upcoming tour, KylieX2008. The Summer world tour will kick off in Paris, France on May 6th, and will include stops in Greece, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Luxembourg, Russia, Latvia, and Spain. It doesn't seem that she'll be dropping by the U.S. for the time being, as her album flopped over there.

Kylie Minogue announced a tour of Europe for 2008 in support of her newest album, X. The KYLIEX2008 Tour will hit 20 cities with 24 concerts between 6 May and 27 July, traveling from Paris to London.

Kylie: “I am putting together a show that is going to be a new and exciting experience for both the audience and myself,” Minogue says in a statement. The “X” tour will be “a look to the future but will definitely include favorites alongside the new”.

Kylie to be honored with the Music Industry Trust Prize!

Kylie Minogue is to be honoured with a prestigious music industry award at a London ceremony. The Australian singer will be presented with the Music Industry Trust prize later in honour of her 20-year career.

Kylie called it an “incredible honour”. “I am truly thrilled to be recognised in this way,” she added.

She's to receive the award in “recognition of her universally acclaimed status as an icon of pop and style achieved over a 20 year career which has seen her reinvent, experiment and inspire”. Award committee chairman David Munn said: “There is no doubt that of our 15 award recipients to date, Kylie is by far the most glamorous.

Kylie Minogue's new single is set to be called '2 Hearts'.Released on November 12, it will be available as a download from November 5.

The song will be released in several formats featuring remixes as well as new tracks.The two track CD will feature the song 'I Don't Know What It Is' alongside the a-side, while the Maxi CD will feature 'King Or Queen' as well as the video for the track.'2 Hearts' is taken from 'X', the singer's 10th studio album and her first album of new material since 2004's 'Body Language'.
