R. Kelly Releases “Be My #2” and “Echo”

R. Kelly New Videos

R. Kelly has just released two new videos titled “Be My #2” and “Echo”  from his 2009 “Untitled” album.

“Be My #2” basically shows R. Kelly’s “good life”, ladies adoring him and praising him while he sings in a club, it also involves bikinis and a pool. The second song, “Echo”, only includes R. Kelly with some rather corny backgrounds such as a fake mountain and a rainbow. Not quite sure which video is the best, just view it for yourselves and pick one.

Untitled” did well in the Billboard Hot 200, as it peaked to number 4 last year. Released singles include “Number One” feat. Keri Hilson, and “Religious”.

R. Kelly Case Going to Trial September 17

The criminal case against R. Kelly, which has been pending for five years, is finally headed to trial. At a hearing in Chicago on Wednesday (August 1), Judge Vincent Gaughan said Kelly’s trial will begin on September 17.

“As Robert [Kelly] said many times, he believes in our system of justice,” a spokesperson for the singer told MTV News. “He is looking forward to finally having his day in court. He’s confident that when all the facts come out, it will be clear he’s not guilty of any crime.”

Kelly was charged with 21 counts of child pornography in 2002 (seven of which were later dropped) for allegedly videotaping himself having sex with a girl prosecutors said was 14 years old at the time; he pleaded not guilty (source:

R Kelly - A song for Virginia Tech

I was personally deeply saddened by the events that unfolded at Virginia Tech, however a tragic event such as this one could happen practially anywhere at any time in the United States. It is so easy to buy a gun... There should be a control on guns in the states, otherwise I truly believe that this won't be the last time we'll see something like this happen in a school, university, mall etc...

I just wanted to share my thoughts on this with you and I thank you for listening.

R kelly is going to release a single called "Rise Up" on May 15th, which was written to support Virgina Tech. 100 % of the net proceeds will go to Hokie Spirt Memorial Fund and will be available digitally.

Here's a sample of "Rise Up", don't forget to show your support for Virginia Tech.

Virginia Tech, we're thinking about you...
