"Just Stand Up To Cancer" Performance


Some of the most talented women in the recording industry performed the charity single “Just Stand Up” at the Stand Up To Cancer Tele-A-Thon at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Friday night.

“Just Stand Up” was written and produced by music legends LA Reid and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and performed by Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis. Fergie, Ciara, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Nicole Scherzinger.

It truly is an extraordinary song, very very touching.

Just Stand Up To Cancer Audio


As previously mentioned on Music2Nite, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, BeyoncĂ©, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow are just a few of the pop/R&B powerhouses who collaborated with one another for the Babyface/L.A Reid charity track “Just Stand Up.” The single will serve as the theme for next month’s Stand Up To Cancer network-wide television campaign.

"Just Stand Up To Cancer"


Mariah Carey, BeyoncĂ©, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes, and Carrie Underwood—have joined together for “Just Stand Up,” an unprecedented charity single in support of Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), a new initiative to raise money for cancer research. The song was, produced by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio “L.A.” Reid. It will go on sale at iTunes on September 2nd.

The all-star television performance premiere of the song will take place live on Friday, September 5th (8 p.m. EDT and PDT), when ABC, CBS, and NBC simultaneously devote one hour of commercial-free prime-time to this nationwide event. This will be the first simultaneous cross-network broadcast ever to raise funds for the fight against a disease.
