Today, Alicia Keys will stop by “The Tyra Banks Show” to discuss everything from rumors of her performing at the Inaugural Ball to the fundraiser event she recently hosted for the charity she co-founded “Keep A Child Alive.”
Alicia Keys speaks with “The Tyra Banks Show” about rumors circulating that she will be performing at President-elect Barack Obama’s Inaugural Ball.
Alicia also discusses with “The Tyra Banks Show” the meaning behind her hit song "Superwoman".
“I love superwoman because it’s really about not having to be at your strongest point. It’s about sometimes when you’re feeling kind of weak, when you’re feeling down that you’re still strong and you still make it through. I love that because I think as women we always feel we have to be perfect, nobody’s perfect…Put that S on your vest and rock it out.”
Best of all Alicia surprises Noah, one of the amazing HIV-positive kids whose life has been saved by her charity “Keep A Child Alive". Noah who dreams of becoming a musician performs on the show with Tyra and Alicia serving as his backup dancers. Tyra also surprises Noah with a wagon full of clothing, an ipod, a digital recorder to record his music and a donation to Noah’s family of $5,000.
