Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis Duet on “Sex and the City 2” Track

As previously reported Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis collaborated on one of the “Sex and the City 2” official tracks. The song is titled “Love Is Your Color”, which features a mid-tempo ballad and the two divas did do a great job together on this number.

The soundtrack for “Sex and the City 2” will be released in the United States on May 25th. Alicia Keys, Dido, Erykah Badu, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon will all feature on the album.

The movie will be released two days after the album’s release on May 27th. Cameo appearances include Penelope Cruz and Miley Cyrus.

Sex and the City 2 Official Soundtrack Details


Details about the soundtrack of “Sex and the City 2” have been revealed today. This time the “girls” Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis, and Cynthia Nixon will also feature on the soundtrack. They will sing Helen Reddy’s "I Am Woman." Liza Minnelli will also appear on the album and will sing Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” and Cole Porter’s “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye”.

The line up of stars doesn’t stop there, Alicia Keys will cover Blondie’s “Rapture”, Leona Lewis and Jennifer Hudson will sing a new tune titled “Love Is Your Color”.

The soundtrack, which also has new music from Dido and Cee Lo, will be released on May 25, just two days before SATC hits theaters. If you haven’t seen the official soundtrack for “Sex and the City 2”, watch it below it’s awesome!

Leona Lewis on the Today Show + Gun Drama

This week, Leona Lewis performed her Golden Globe nominated “I See You” from the movie Avatar on the Today Show. Her video for “I Got You” is expected to premiere any day now, so make sure to watch out for that. Singing the official song for Avatar proved to be very successful for Leona Lewis, as it is the second grossing movie of all time, after Titanic.


In other news, Leona was caught in the middle of a gun drama in Los Angeles on Tuesday as she was on her way to the airport.

An eyewitness says: "Two men brandishing guns jumped out of their car, right next to Leona's.”
"Armed cops, who had been in hot pursuit, captured them. But in the chaos bystanders were also sent flying.”

"Leona had been locked in her car by her security team and had to watch as her manager Nicola Carson was thrown on to the floor."

Just a few months ago, Leona was attacked by a fan, we hope that she won’t be too shaken up after another dangerous encounter.

Leona Lewis and Robbie Williams Collaboration

Leona Lewis and Robbie Williams are planning to work together on two tracks.

Leona is incredibly proactive. She knows exactly what she wants and where she’s heading and is thrilled with these developments,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“She loves Robbie and thinks he’s a real laugh - and the love-in is mutual. They’re just going to go in the studio and see what comes out.”

The collaboration is set to take place at the same time as Leona’s arena tour, which means that Robbie Williams might also show up at some of her concerts.

Simon Cowell is said to have pushed for this collaboration as he hopes that Robbie Williams will agree to become one of the judges of the UK X-Factor.

Leona Lewis Falls From Her Horse + Impresses James Cameron

Leona Lewis took quite a tumble last Wednesday as she fell from a horse. She was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday where she was treated for suspected torn ligaments.

A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Leona was riding... and fell off when the horse started galloping too fast.

"It was pretty scary. She had quite a tumble." 

"It hasn't put her off riding. She's fine and will be back on her horse soon." It didn’t ruin Leona’s new year eve’s plans as she still attended Robin Thicke’s party at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

On other Leona Lewis news, the Bleeding Love star has made quite an impression on James Cameron (Avatar).
Leona recorded the theme song for Cameron’s current epic Avatar – and the director is keen to make Leona a big star in the movie business.

“James is well known for casting strong females in his films and he sees that quality in Leona,” revealed a Hollywood insider.

Leona on making movies: “I love movies but I’m more into scriptwriting and the actual story and behind the scenes,” she said. “But I wouldn’t say no if it was the right thing.”

Leona Lewis - "Echo" Official Cover Art


Leona Lewis' upcoming second studio album "Echo" has got an official seductive cover art!

The lead single off the album is titled "Happy". Written by OneRepublic's vocalist Ryan Tedder, the song was unveiled on BBC's "The Radio 1 Chart Show" on September 6 and performed live in U.S. for the first time on the finale of "America's Got Talent" season 4.

Leona on the new album: "I titled my album 'ECHO', since an echo describes a big, organic sound. I'm in the midst of the recording process, working with incredible songwriters and producers, and my music has really evolved. It's so exciting to create something new".

Leona Lewis - Planning 2 Year Tour!


Leona Lewis has been working on her new album, due to be released later this year. So far, she's recorded 20 songs.

“I’ve recorded about 20 songs so far. I’d say it was half way there. I’ve been flying back and forth to LA to record it. The music has a different feel this time. It’s more of a live, heavier sound with a lot of real instruments. It’s something that I’ll be able to perform live.”

To promote her new album, Leona will embark on a 2 year tour!

“I’ll be touring in 2010 and through to the year after.” That's great news for Leona's fans, and the new album sounds interesting, a new sound would be good after all that "Bleeding Love".

Interviews were conducted with Leona’s manager Simon Cowell, Leona’s producer Ryan Tedder, the latest X Factor winner Alexandra Burke and Leona of course.

Leona Lewis - Timbaland Makeover


Leona Lewis has decided to take a new direction on her music by working with Timbaland. She'll be taking a step back from her famous ballads, and head towards dance music instead.

Timbaland is exciting about the project and looks forward turning Leona into an American R&B star in the likes of Beyonce and Rihanna.

“Timbaland can’t wait to work with Leona and make her feisty like Beyonce Knowles and Rihanna. “The ballads will still be there but the tracks will be racier and there’ll be dance floor anthems too.”

Other artists such as Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, and Michael Jackson are also eager to work with the X Factor winner.

According to a source, Michael “…hasn’t approached her yet but he’s a big fan of everything she has achieved. She’s massive all around the world and he feels this duet would give both their careers an even bigger boost.”

New Leona Lewis Video - "I Will Be"


The video for Leona Lewis' new song "I Will Be", just premiered.

Leona plays a criminal who gets arrested by an NYPD officer, played by Cedric Darius. In addition, "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford makes a cameo as her lover.

"I Will Be" is Leona Lewis' cover for Avril Lavigne's 2006 ballad of the same title. It serves as the third U.S. single from her debut album "Spirit".

Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis - Broadway Show?


Mariah Carey wants Leona Lewis to play her in a proposed Broadway musical about her rise to stardom.

If chosen, Leona would portray Mariah, the first artist to have her first five singles top the US Billboard 100 chart, from her discovery at age 20.

“Mariah’s not sure if she’ll star in it herself. If she doesn’t, names being tossed around include High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens and Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria. But Mariah secretly likes the idea of Leona Lewis playing her,” one spy whispered to Britain’s Daily Mail early Wednesday.

“Not only is she exotic, she’s the only one who they reckon would be able to tackle Mariah’s eight-octave vocal range.”

A spokeswoman for the diva confirmed: “Mariah is in talks for a Broadway musical to be made about her life in 2009.”

Theater bosses are hoping to have the production ready later this year.

Leona Lewis Tops This Year's iTunes Best Sellers


Leona Lewis has this year's top selling iTunes song with "Bleeding Love."

Coldplay came in second place, then Flo Rida with "Low", Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" followed, and finally Rihanna came in fifth place with "Disturbia".

In regards to albums, Coldplay topped the list, then Jack Johnson with "Through the Static", the Juno soundtrack, Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III, and finally Sara Bareilles with "Little Voice".

New Leona Lewis Video - "Run"


Here's the video for Leona Lewis' new single "Run". It's a cover of the original song by UK band Snow Patrol, and will be available for download on November 30th.


In other Leona Lewis news, President elect Barack Obama's team is currently in talks to having Leona sing at his inauguration on January 20th.

“Various inquiries have been made to Leona’s people about her availability on January 20,” an insider tells Britian’s The Sun.

“She’s had such a successful past year that joining in the festivities in Washington would be the icing on the cake for her.”

“Her team are going through her diary at the moment….They’re certainly not averse to shifting things around to accommodate any celebrations for Obama.”

Leona Lewis - No Live Tour Until 2010!


Many of you might wonder why Leona Lewis hasn't scheduled a tour yet, well unfortunately she won't be touring until 2010!

The bleeding love singer has decided to record a second album before touring.

“Live tour will probably come the year after next. Next year is album. Album then tour.”

Leona will collaborate with new bands on her second album, however hasn't revealed any names yet.

“You'll find out soon enough, it's a different direction. There'll be ballads too. That's my thing. But it'll have a bit of an edge to it. It's always good to keep it fresh and try new things.”

I sure hope she tries new things, I just can't hear "Bleeding Love" anymore, she has to go in a completely direction on her next album!
