Carrie Underwood and Elvis Singing Together

Carrie Underwood is one of the artists who is set to duet with Elvis on a new Christmas album. Elvis’ Christmas Album, from 1957, has sold more than 9 million copies, making it the top-selling Christmas album of all time.

The idea is to pair up Elvis and a couple of artists and create a new version of his Christmas album. Priscilla Presley gave her approval on the project and said:

“We are so pleased that these accomplished artists are collaborating with Elvis in this unique way to make exciting new versions of his Christmas songs,” said the actress, who was married to Presley for five and a half years before their divorce in 1973. “I am sure Elvis would be proud to have worked with them.”

The album will also feature digital duets with Martina McBride, Gretchen Wilson, Anne Murray, Amy Grant, Wynonna Judd and Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman.

Elvis Presley Christmas Duets, set for release Oct. 14, include:

“I’ll Be Home For Christmas” — Carrie Underwood
