Justin Timberlake – 2009’s Most Charitable Person!

Justin Timberlake Most Charitable
Justin Timberlake isn’t only incredibly talented with music, funny on SNL and movies, he is also a great role model for charities. Last year, the “Sexyback” hit maker raised almost $10,000,000 ($9,198,072 to be exact) and was named the most influential celebrity for charitable causes in a survey by US website The Daily Beast. The sum was donated to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Madonna, Pamela Anderson, Oprah, and U2 were also listed as celebrities who contributed a lot in 2009.

Madonna came in second on the list with $5,501,835 for her Raising Malawi foundation, while Pamela Anderson was third, raising $4,806,750 for animal rights organisation People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

In addition, Oprah Winfrey and her Oprah's Angel Network were listed on the fourth position, and Bono from U2 fifth with his ONE foundation.

I decided to write this post to remind you that there are many people in need out there, and it is wonderful to have role models such as these celebrities and give whatever we can.
